artbygenève 2010: a promising debut at Palexpo
« artbygenève » was considered a great success by the many knowledgeable visitors who attended and by the exhibitors who were highly satisfied with the contacts and sales that they made. New and promising projects are already being studied for the 2011 edition.
Compromising a large proportion of the 100,000 visitors to the International Book and Press Show, artbygenève profited from the attendance of numerous collectors and important players in this domain.
The high standard of the works presented as a result of the rigorous selection by the Committee, the opening of an impressive section dedicated to photography, and the original design and conviviality of the exhibition areas have all contributed to the rave reviews the event has received.
The majority of the more than 50 exhibitors, who came from Austria, Belgium, Korea, France, Japan, Russia, and the Ukraine as well as Switzerland, have expressed a high level of satisfaction with the contacts and the sales that they made. This result was a deserving reward for the Committee who had worked for two years to achieve this success. But they will not rest on these laurels – exciting projects are already being studied for the 2011 edition.
